The “Wiesn” in Munich – A Bavarian Tradition

Munich’s Oktoberfest, known as the "Wiesn," is one of the oldest and largest folk festivals in the world. Deep-rooted in Bavarian tradition, the festival is celebrated in the grand tents of Munich’s renowned breweries, each with its own unique charm and distinct character. Every year, these tents are lovingly decorated, offering an unparalleled atmosphere that embodies the spirit of the Oktoberfest.

We would be delighted to assist you in planning an unforgettable event for your clients at the Oktoberfest, saving you time, effort, and costs.

Thanks to our extensive experience and network, we can offer a truly exceptional Wiesn experience to private clients, agencies, and companies alike. In addition to classic table reservations, we can arrange suitable hotel accommodations during the travel period and organize seamless transfers. Upon request, we can also enhance your personalized Wiesn experience with a variety of exclusive activities. Whether it’s a visit to the Allianz Arena, an adventurous rafting trip on the Isar, or a guided city tour of Munich, we are happy to tailor your trip to meet your needs.

Feel free to send us your request and inquire about available options.

  • KUFFLER'S WINE TENT

The name says it all in the wine tent, where everything revolves around grape juice. 15 different wines as well as various types of sparkling wine and champagne make the wine tent a special one. This is one of the reasons why the celebrity density here is as high as in Käfer's Wiesn tavern. Wine lovers will get their money's worth in Kuffler's wine tent, and those who don't like beer are in good hands here and can have a lot of fun with the very good food and the groovy music. The small but fine tent, held in Franconian style, is definitely worth a visit.

About the venue

Theresienwiese is an open space in the Munich borough of Ludwigsvorstadt-Isarvorstadt. It serves as the official ground of the Munich Oktoberfest. A space of 420,000 square metres (4,500,000 sq ft), it is bordered in the west by the Ruhmeshalle and the Bavaria statue, symbolizing the State of Bavaria, and in the east by Esperantoplatz, a square named for the international language Esperanto. There, a memorial commemorates the victims of the 1980 Oktoberfest bombing. Bavariaring, an orbital road, provides access to visiting traffic. In the north the towers of St. Paulare visible.
